These beams can be used for a multitude of purposes including mantel, wood burning stove surround, floating shelf or a exposed lintel. HIDDEN BRACKETS INCLUDED. Measurements are before the beam has been planed and sanded. As each piece of oak is different so please allow up to 5 millimetres each side for planing. Longest side will be used as the face unless requested otherwise. As these beams are made to order if you require a more rustic look with greater notches just let me know when placing your order. Same goes if you require a beam with all square edges. All oak beams are different, some may have more knots or cracks than others and shades can differ with each delivery i receive. Please allow 4 working days ( Monday to Friday) for the beam to be completed. UK MAINLAND ONLY . ADVICE FOR INSTALLATION: Installation couldn't be simpler! First mark on your wall (To ensure they will line up with the pre drilled holes on the beam). Drill 2 x 10mm holes , insert the plugs into the holes, then screw in the brackets using a spanner/ adjustable spanner or pair of grips. Finally slide over your beam.
