The Original Toy Company Pop Up Fire Truck

This toys is great! We wanted it use it to promote fine motor skills, it’s done the job and more! Baby loves the pop up feature and is absolutely in love with the bright colors. We love that the wheels are functional as well, allows baby to play with while using other cars. Great quality! It’s been through a few throws across the room with excitement, not breaks or chips in paint!

I purchased this a little early when my baby was 4 months. She has pretty good hand dexterity and I introduced it to her at around 5 months, she mostly bat at it, so I put it away and tried again at 6 months. Now she is able to pull the pegs out easily and sometimes pops them out. I know she will be able to work on her fine motor skills with this for awhile. I know it says it's safe materials for children but I am skeptical about that with all products so I am always with her when she plays with this to make sure she doesnt swallow the pegs (they're too long but you never know) or chip one and swallow a piece. As far as the product itself, it's well made and appropriatr size for small humans, even below the recommended 12 month age. It rolls well on the wooden wheels and it's pretty lightweight (will get knocked over easily) but that also helps baby learn that they can dump the pegs out too. I can see this having value over time as baby's skills grow. I will also be adding a rope to this later to make it a pull along toy.

Very nice toy with a pop of color. My baby's eyes lights up as soon as he sees his fire truck every morning. He doesn't use it as a pop up toy but he keeps and moves the truck around with his hand probably all the time. I love it when seeing him playing with this fire truck, just pure joy and super adorable moments.

My son (6 months) loves this. The peg people are a bit on the small side for tiny babies who like to put everything in their mouth. I definitely keep an eye on him as he’s playing to be sure he doesn’t get it too far in his mouth. Keeps him entertained for a long time. My 2.5 yr old is also a huge fan. Will be on our toy shelf for years to come and certainly a toy the we’ll hold onto considering it so beautifully made. A keepsake for sure.

This is the best toddler toy. The kids love pushing the peg people and watching them pop out. It is great for building fine motor skills.

I gave this as a gift and they lived it. It was very fun. However the screw on the bottom instantly started falling out and wouldn't stay in.

Got this as an early Christmas present from my MIL, for my 8 month old son. I also watch a 2.5 year old boy, so toys I get have to have a wide range for age. Both of them absolutely love this-almost too much (Lots of turn-taking). It feels high quality, and the wood makes it sturdy and durable. Paint and design is simple and clean, perfect to stimulate kids' brains without overwhelming them. Only con, some of the red paint from the truck seems to get knicked onto the little posts, as pictured. Not a big deal at all, just worth mentioning. Bottom line, BUY THIS. Would be a great gift as well.

This is a great toy and has really stood the test of time in our household! It's been on our Montessori shelf from 9 months and still going strong at 12 months. At first, kiddo was engaged with just taking out the pegs. Next, he learned how to put them back in. Now, he's figured out how to make them pop up. He's also starting to play with it as a car, zooming it on the floor or down inclines. He also enjoys taking out the pegs and putting them in his shape sorter. He will spend 10 minutes at a time engaging with it multiple times each day. Excellent, well-made, wooden toy!
