So I bought these because I had a stripped-head M3 screw that was stuck (due to purple thread lock having been used). I needed something to drill out the old screw so that I could re-tap the hole and salvage the expensive aluminum part. These bits definitely did the trick. I broke 4 of them in the process, as they are very fragile and rigid. But they were plenty sharp enough to cut into the stainless screw head and bore down through the center of the screw. No drifting, no damage to the surrounding aluminum part. Just straight through. I found it works best to set the dremel to a slower speed and be patient so as not to break or overheat the bits. And keep it as straight as possible to avoid flex. But I'm super happy, I have a bunch left just in case this ever happens to me again!

They are brittle (obviously) but I used only 4 bits (first try) to drill a hole through hardened steel knife blade! I’ve never seen drill bits this good sold at any other hardware stores! Not to mention the price I paid was nearly nothing compared to those brick and mortar chain stores ! I’d the price stays low I’ll keep coming back!!

good shipment. 29 out of 30 not bad. shipped me two 1.0mm and missed the 1.3mm. Really would like the 1.3mm but can managed without it. identification on a few very hard to read but considering the small size at very low price is understandable. Worked out well

Drill or clean out very small holes. These have a collar to improve handling when drilling by hand. They can also be used in a drill motor like a Dremel.

These worked amazingly well. I had tried multiple (brand new) regular dill bits that did nothing to the bolt I was trying to drill through. But these bits started cutting immediately and made quick work of the project. I did break 3 of the bits in the process, but that was expected for such a small diameter bit in a handheld drill.

These drill bits are the perfect replacement for your .5 bits that are broken. Easy to use and sturdy, the price is perfect and with 10, you won't go through them too quickly.

These 10 x 1.5mm bits are exactly what I need to begin a graduated drilling process. I'll probably be ordering addition sizes in the near future from this seller - - they have all the sizes I may need. Quite happy !

Excellent little carbide drills, suitable for drilling hardened steel. Recommend using in a drill press and "peck drilling" to avoid breakage, don't even think about using a hand drill.
